I have an idea, and I’m attempting to put it into practice, even though it may seem a bit outlandish. The idea centers on the greatest attainable achievement for humanity: transcending the limitations of the human body. This dream encompasses both the power to accomplish anything and the ability to experience every moment from a perspective beyond our own.
Almost everything we need is already here; we simply need to look more closely around us. As the philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein stated, “The problems are not solved by giving new information, but by arranging what we have known since long.”
Every individual is a unique universe of meanings they ascribe to facts, things, and their interactions, and they act accordingly. Most of an individual’s responses to their environment are situational, existing in the present moment rather than the past or future. Capturing the entirety of this universe of meaning within a secure environment would be akin to preserving the individual for extended periods. If I can record a significant portion of a person’s mind, it would theoretically allow for that portion (or a representation of it) to “travel” at the speed of light, similar to 3D printing at a distant location. This recorded portion, stored on a durable medium, could potentially achieve a lifespan matching that of the medium itself.
For humans, the relevant part of their inner universe is primarily expressed through words. For an individual, finding the right words at any given moment is akin to introspection, a glimpse into their mind or soul, as it was once called.
Now, there’s no need to panic! This involves observing a part of your “soul” (or mind) that you may never have consciously examined before. This process, which I call “mindgraphy,” allows you to see inside your mind with the aid of Artificial Intelligence.

We often look in the mirror to prepare for a date or simply out of curiosity about our appearance. We adjust our posture and strike different poses. Looking in the mirror, when not done in a narcissistic manner, is an attempt at self-correction. However, the most crucial aspects of ourselves remain unseen, much like the submerged portion of an iceberg. These unseen aspects reside within our minds. Imagine the profound advantage of being able to directly observe this internal landscape, much like we observe our physical reflection in a mirror. This isn’t science fiction, but rather an attempt, which I humbly submit for your critique.
My approach involves a combination of novelty, a rearrangement of existing knowledge, and the utilization of AI to generate the final output. The approximation presented here is superficial, with a narrow scope, and may exhibit similarities.
This is an approximation that can be refined, much like acquiring a better mirror to observe oneself more accurately. I’ve compiled a list of carefully selected words, and you will provide individual data sets associated with each word. This creates a limited structure, a graph of your mind, based on the provided material. We then identify the relationships between these words as they appear in your mind and, with the help of AI, generate a “mindgraphy.” The information within the mindgraphy is specific to the time period when you complete the form and is most meaningful to you as the individual who created it. You can then use this information for personal reflection and potential self-improvement.
Each of us is primarily defined by our minds, composed of a vast network of neurons. We don’t consciously perceive these neurons, just as we don’t consciously perceive the table and chairs around us. Instead, we experience sentiments.
Sentiments are the links between the mind and the rest of the universe, perceived or imagined through the body. They are mental structures that can be, or aspire to be, translated into words, allowing for manipulation based on individual interpretations of meaning. These sentiments are, in a way, rearranged fragments of our sensory experiences: what we have seen, heard, smelled, tasted, and touched. We assign names to everything that affects us, and we can say that our internal universe is composed of these words. It’s not just the named entities that are important, but also the interactions between them. Each word carries a unique meaning for each individual, but these individual meanings are constrained by commonly agreed-upon meanings within society.
